25 Things I've Learned in 25 Years

Yesterday I celebrated being alive on this Earth for a quarter century! Today I'm sharing 25 things I've learned in the past 25 years.

1. There's nothing more important than your health. I'm talking both physically and mentally.

2. Manifestation is real! Speak things into existence, strongly believe in them and they will happen.

3. Don't let other peoples thoughts or opinions get in the way of what makes you happy. Always do you!

4. It's completely okay to be weird. We're all different and we're all awesome in our own unique way.

5. Not everything you see on social media is real, so don't compare yourself or your life to anyones online, you never know what's really happening behind the scenes.

6. Being organized helps reduce stress. Create a to-do list everyday to know what tasks you have to complete to keep yourself on track. A organized and clutter free life equals a healthier mind! :)

7. Believe in yourself! You are capable of any accomplishment you set your mind to. Believe than anything and everything can happen.

8. Be open-minded and try new things. Get out of your comfort zone and try something different, you might discover something you'll love.

9. Take action - when you want something go after it! Wether it's to lose five pounds or going after the job of your dreams, it all starts with action.

10. Never neglect skincare, the skin is the largest organ in the human body so show it some love and take care of it. Here's a tip: moisturizer is your skins best friend.

11. It's okay to not feel okay sometimes. A good cry in the shower to let out any frustration or negative emotion is good for the soul.

12. I have the power to control my anxiety, anxiety does not have the power to control me.

13. Travel as often as you can! Discover new places, broaden your horizons and you'll learn and grow from it.

14. Always listen to your intuition. When you get a gut feeling that something is wrong or right, don't ignore it.

15. Surround yourself with good people. Having friends that bring out the best in you is always a good idea.

16. Learn something everyday. Either by watching, listening, reading or talking.

17. Live in the moment! Life is short, the past is gone and the future is not ours to control, so don't spend too much time and energy focusing or worrying about the past or future. Focus and enjoy every bit of living in the present.

18. Meditation is the key to a healthy mind. Giving your mind a break and allowing it to relax for a few minutes will work wonders! Learn more about meditation.

19. Reduce, reuse, recycle. As humans it's our right to protect our one and only planet. Earth takes care of us by providing us with everything we need to survive like oxygen and food so do your part to take care of it to the best of your ability.

21. Always be grateful. Everything is a gift and should be well appreciated. Cherish everything about yourself and about life, even the hardships.

22. Spend more time with your parents. As we get older, so do they.

23. Admit your flaws. Knowing where your flaws lie will allow for growth and improvement.

24. Accept yourself, imperfections and all. No one is perfect and perfection is boring.

25. Love yourself! For all that you are and all that you're becoming. When you love yourself you find true happiness.
